“I recommend the Purpose Forum! It’s uplifting, positive, and reminds us that we have far more in common than not.”
— February Purpose Forum attendee

Hello Netweaver,

If you’ve been wanting to feel more connected—or step into a room where people are open, welcoming, and real—this is for you.

March is Women's History Month—a time to recognize women who have shaped our community—and a chance to look more closely at what’s happening here, right now, including the challenges that aren’t always visible.

Because not everything shaping our community is easy to see.
And not everyone shaping it is in the spotlight.

That’s what this month’s Purpose Forum opens up.

This fireside conversation brings together public leadership and lived experience—creating space not just to hear stories, but to better understand our community and where each of us might play a role.

You don’t need a title or experience.
Just curiosity—and a willingness to step into something meaningful.

If you’ve ever thought, “I care about this community, but I’m not sure where I fit,” this is a place to start.

✨ A Room Full of Possibility

Many shared that February’s Purpose Forum was one of the most energizing yet.

Hearing Biff Messinger and Alicia speak about the history, growth, and innovation at the Community Food Bank reminded us what’s possible when people come together with purpose.

“Tears in my eyes made me realize I feel connected.”
— February Purpose Forum attendee

That same spirit is happening at another Connect for Good gathering, the 2nd annual Board Connect, where Alpine Bank generously donated $1,000 to support the new Palisade Chamber Foundation.

In community,

Porcia

P.S. We’re less than a week out, and these gatherings tend to fill with people who are ready to connect and contribute. If it’s been on your mind, now’s a good time to say yes.

Local Act of Goodness

Each month, we’ll highlight simple yet powerful acts of generosity happening across the Grand Valley—because community health grows through everyday contributions.

🌟 When Panda Express opened its new Clifton location, they didn’t just open their doors—they showed up as a neighbor.

Without being asked, they donated $1,000 to the Clifton Christian Community Food Bank, choosing to invest in the community from day one.

A simple gesture. A meaningful start. A reminder that how we show up matters.

Acts of Goodness — Alpine Bank Series

At Alpine Bank, generosity isn’t a campaign—it’s how people show up every day. Through this new series, we’ll share real stories of employees quietly strengthening our community through care, relationships, and action.
